Insurance
Using insurance for treatment
Insurance shouldn't be a barrier to getting help. We'll check your benefits for free and explain what's covered in plain language.
How verification works
Three steps, no obligation
Step 1: Share your plan details
Fill in the form below or call us. All we need is your name, contact details and the insurance provider on your card.
Step 2: We contact your insurer
Our admissions team checks your benefits for detox, residential and outpatient care, plus any pre-authorization your plan requires.
Step 3: We explain it plainly
We walk you through what's covered, your deductible and out-of-pocket costs, so you can decide with clear numbers.
Plans we commonly work with
In network with Anthem, Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare + more
Medicaid and Medicare are not accepted.
Coverage varies by plan, even within the same insurance company. Listing a provider here doesn't guarantee coverage; we confirm your specific benefits with your insurer.

Questions
Questions about insurance and cost
No. We work with most PPO plans, both in and out of network, but we can't accept Medicaid (Medi-Cal) or Medicare. If that's your coverage, call us and we'll help you find a program that does.
Call us. We can talk about self-pay options and, if Serenity Moon isn't financially workable, point you toward other resources, including the free, confidential SAMHSA National Helpline at 1-800-662-4357.
No. Verification is free, and there's no obligation. It simply tells you what your plan covers so you can decide.
Your health information is protected by federal privacy laws. We share it with your insurer only as needed to check benefits and arrange care, and never with your employer.
It depends on your insurer, but we start right away. If it's urgent, call (888) 298-2814; admissions is available 24/7.
Prefer to talk it through?
Our admissions team can check your coverage over the phone, day or night.
